I think somebody that should be honored, is deffinately Benjamin Franklin. We will be exploring what his life
was like before his inventions, what he did invent, and how his many inventions changed the way that we live our lives
today.

    Benjamin Franklin was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on January 17, 1706. As a child, He attended Boston
Latin School, but his schooling ended when he was 10. Afterwards he began working for his father, and at the age of 12
he became an apprentice to his brother, and was taught the printing trade. At age 17, Benjamin Franklin ran away to
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when he first arrived in Philadelphia he worked in printer shops around the town.

    One of Franklin's most known discoveries, was the discovery of electricity. In 1750 he published a proposal for
an experiment to prove that lightning is a form of electricity, by flying a kite in a lightning storm. Benjamin Franklin
had man inventions, but one of the lesser known invention is that of the bifocal glasses. Bifocal Glasses were designed
with another lens in the lower half of the frame, for closer viewing, allowing those with eye problems, or those without
the ability to easily focus, the ability to read and write better.

    These inventions had a very strong impact on the way we live life today, especially his discovery of electricity.
