Abstract This is a justifiable and supportive way of interpreting the fields of modern technological and ethical understanding. The author, Sara Baase, helps readers grasp the ethical concepts within the text. Baase explains the focus on computer economic, ethics, politics and the dilemma that can be misconstrued or misguided within the digital divide. Baase explains concerns and issues that reader/reviewers may face in the field of study. It can be said that this text helps develop a better understanding of the technological aspects of ethical computing, within society. Baase’s works have been revised 3 times. This is the 3rd edition of her works. Immanuel Kant’s, deontologist, theory can be reviewed as an assumption of equality and rule following. Because, Kant believes that humans should be rational, rather than irrational. Kant’s belief is that if something is rightfully working out for one individual, then, it should work out just as well for others. However, this theory can be questioned to show fault. The idea that something will rightfully work out for one, doesn’t justify that it will follow suit for others. To assume that the use of a stolen answer key will provide the right series of numbers, on a quiz, doesn’t make it ethical.
